A solid Solid Waste Plan is an important tool towards a sustainable zero-waste event . A good rule of thumb from SWACO, the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio, is to have recycle, waste, and compost bins grouped together and placed every 30-40 yards. This is not easy to achieve manually. You can use the Spatial Analysis tool in EventMapStudio to efficiently layout your recycle bins.
Understanding the public transit landscape around your event is important for your event greening effort. Knowing where the public transit access points are will help you better layout your event in particular entrances and exits to leverage the mass transportation network.
Automatically generate an interactive event map instead of purchasing and setting up an expensive customized event app map. You can update this map in real time to reflect last minutes changes. The resulting public event map can be integrated to the event's web site and access from desktops prior to the event, or from phones while at the event. It can also be included as an external link in most festival app software. The map can include logo/placement for vendors and sponsors, as well as links to vendors' pages including menus. The map an also include a Event Sustainability link to promote and educate the public about sustainable options and the event's sustainability work.
